Q. 3. Who are your experts?


To establish a safe therapeutic environment, we make sure all our clinical psychologists, psychologists, and counselors are trained, qualified, licensed, and experienced. At SamarthApp, you can choose from 4 different kinds of experts-


  • Clinical Psychologists - M.Phil.

  • Psychologists - Masters in Psychology

You may choose to book an online consulting, counselling, or therapy session. You can also book sessions in counts of 5 or 10.

Q. 7. Where will the counselling/therapy take place?


All counselling and therapy will take place online- through online sessions. If you can commute to us, you can choose to go for one-on-one sessions.


Payments and Booking:


Q. 1. How much will this cost me?


To book with us, you can request a callback/chat. You can also book 5 or 10 sessions at once, and then avail them as you need them. The prices will apply as mentioned against the service on the checkout page.


Q. 2. What modes of payment do you accept?


You can pay in one of the following ways:


  • Netbanking

  • Debit/ Credit Cards

  • Razorpay

  • UPI


Your payment information is safe with us; we do not share it with anyone.


Q. 3. How do I apply for a refund?


In case of failure to provide services on the expert’s end, a refund is initiated from our end and the amount is reimbursed to your bank account within 15 working days if found eligible for a refund. The eligibility criteria apply as mentioned in the Terms & Conditions and in our Refund Policy. If you are still not satisfied, you can mail us at info@samarthapp.com


Q. 4. How close to an appointment can I make a booking?


You need to book at least 1 hour before your actual appointment. If you don’t hear from the expert assigned to you in 48 hours, you can cancel the appointment and we’ll initiate a refund.


Q. 5. How do I cancel an appointment?


You can cancel a booking prior to acceptance. If an expert hasn’t confirmed your appointment yet, you can cancel your booking when logged in to the app. The amount will be reimbursed to you within 15 working days.


Q. 6. How close to an appointment can I cancel it?


You can cancel a booking as long as it hasn’t been accepted yet.


Therapy:


Q. 1. How long will a session be?


A counseling session may be anywhere around 20-35 minutes long.


Q. 2. Will my information be kept confidential?


All experts at SamarthApp value your privacy and will never gossip or divulge personal details unless legally necessary. The therapeutic relationship based on trust fosters progress.


Q. 3. How long until I can expect a callback from an expert?


Once you’ve successfully made the payment and booked a chat session or a callback, you can expect an expert to revert in less than 48 hours.


Problems:


Q. 1. What can I do if I pay for 10 sessions at once and, after a few sessions, do not wish to continue with a particular expert?


Your combined payment for 10 sessions is non-refundable once it has been confirmed by the expert or you have availed your first session. However, we can switch you up to another expert for the remaining of your sessions.


Q. 2. What happens if my appointment isn’t confirmed?


If you have made the payment and booked a callback/chat, but haven’t heard from an expert in 48 hours, you can cancel the appointment and we’ll initiate a refund from our end. The amount will be reimbursed to you within 15 working days.


Q. 3. What is your refund policy?


If, in unforeseen circumstances, you are unable to avail the services of an expert, the amount will be reimbursed to you within 15 working days if eligible for a refund. Eligibility criteria include:


  • Unavailability of an expert

  • If you don’t listen from an expert in 48 hours since you’ve made the payment to book a session/callback/chat

  • If your transaction fails but the amount is deducted from your account


In addition to the conditions mentioned above, you also follow the terms and conditions of our payment partner, RazorPay.

Q. 1. How do I reset my password?


When you’re logged in, if you select Profile from the options under the profile icon at the top right of your screen, you’ll find an option to edit your profile for various parameters like your name, email, picture, and password.

If you’re an expert and would like to work with us, use the quick link in the footer to register, then choose a package you like.
